Meet the Founder
Jerry Dunn – “America’s Marathon Man”
I began my running journey barefoot on the white sand of Siesta Key. For two years, the earth beneath my feet shaped my stride, my rhythm, and my awareness. I believed I was training my body; in truth, I was also building a grounded and awakened mind.
Those early miles became quiet teachers. What began as movement became meaning, guiding me toward the deeper inner journey that continues today.
THINK IT DO IT BE IT
What Is Running Current?
A simple place for runners to tell the truth about what the miles have done to them on the inside.
1. Remember the mile
Think of a run — a single mile, a race, or a long training day — that changed you, even in a small way. The moment you won nothing on paper but everything in your heart.
2. Tell the inner story
Don’t focus on stats. Focus on what shifted inside: a realization, a release, a decision, a new awareness, or a single thought that re-wired how you see yourself.
3. Share it with the world
Running Current will publish selected stories in written, audio, or video form so other runners can feel that same current — and maybe find language for their own.
